16 June 2018 - Quiz night

A quiz night will be held 7.00pm - 9.30pm at Lawrenny Court. BYO food and drink. HOC members bring snacks for tables which hold 6 - 8 friends each, make them up or come on your own. Prizes galore, extra point scoring chances throughout. We will be led again by the fantastic Petr Diviš and Mark Wojick.

Tickets are $10 each and can be obtained from Marian by sending an email to orpheus.choir@outlook.com

It is recommended to park in Arthur Street.

9 June 2018 - Farewell to Marian

A "Drop in" farewell for Marian Bisset will be held from 3-5 pm at Lawrenny Court. HOC members please bring a plate.

28 May 2018 - Meet the New Conductor

An evening will be held to meet our new Musical Director and Conductor Susan Reppion Brooke at our regular choir rehearsal 7.30pm. Regular supper roster will be followed and the Committee will add munchie items to it.

25 May 2018 - Favorite Opera Choruses Concert

Featuring Stephanie Arnold from Melbourne, Grace Ovens, Philip Joughin joined by Petr Diviš on piano

Choruses include Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, the Anvil Chorus, the Humming Chorus, Waltz scene from Eugene Oregon, March of the Toreadors.

Time: 7.30pm

Venue: Salvation Army Citadel, 180 Elizabeth St

This is Marian Bisset's final concert as conductor of Hobart Orpheus Choir after 9 1/2 years at the helm.  Come along and enjoy the choir and farewell her with opera choruses.
